Does Article Checker PRO use ChatGPT or another AI model?

No. Scores come from rule-based checks that run on your own WordPress server. Your content is not sent to an AI service. Only the optional PageSpeed and Search Console features talk to Google.
Does it detect whether a human or AI wrote my article?

No. It checks quality signals (structure, intent, trust, citations, readability, originality). It does not label content as human or AI.
Will it change my posts without asking?
+
No. Suggestions only go into a post when you load that post, preview the change and click Apply to Post, with a confirm step. WordPress revisions (when your host has them on) keep the older version.
Do I need Search Console?

No. The Audit screen works on its own. Search Console adds the GSC Opportunities screen and needs a Google Cloud OAuth client, set up under Settings → Integrations.
Can I change how the overall score is calculated?

Yes. Settings → Scoring has weights for all nine areas, an AI priority slider and E-E-A-T strictness. Article type presets apply their own weights to that audit.
Can I share an audit with a client?

Yes. Open the audit in history and click Share to copy a read-only link, or download a one-page PDF. Both use your brand name, logo and colour from Settings → Branding. Revoke any link in Settings → Shared links.
Can my team see Quality Control without admin access?

Yes. Put [acpro_frontend] on a password-protected page. Visitors need the page password, repeated wrong guesses lock that visitor out for a while, and the page is not cached.
Can site visitors use the checker?

Yes. Add [article_checker_public] to any page. Visitors paste text, HTML or Markdown and see scores and suggestions. Nothing is saved to your posts.
What happens when my license ends?

Admin screens lock, but nothing is deleted. Changes already applied to posts stay, existing share links keep working, and paying again unlocks everything.
How is this different from a hosted content tool such as Surfer SEO?

Article Checker PRO lives inside WordPress and runs on your server. It audits the post you are editing, can insert fixes into that post, and adds E-E-A-T, AI Overview and citation checks plus site-wide Quality Control, for one plugin license. Competitor checks use the URLs you enter; it does not pull live search results for each keyword.
Does it slow down my site?

Audits run only when you click Run Audit (or a visitor uses the public checker). Admin styles load only on the plugin’s own screens.
Does it work in languages other than English?

You can set country and language per audit, but most checks are tuned for English text.
